FESTIVAL RULES

 • The adjudicator’s decision is FINAL and no conversation will be entered into with regards to placings or advice offered.

• Age Groups / Sections are determined by the age of the competitor on the first day of the festival. All teachers are asked to provide children’s date of birth’s to ensure dancers are entered into correct sections.

 • In Duets, Trio & Groups, the age of the ELDEST competitor determines the age group

 • Competitors may enter only once in each discipline in solo sections

• Time Limits must be strictly adhered to – any dances running over time may be stopped by the adjudicator or the organisers.

 • Pointe work will not be permitted in Tots, Baby, A, B or C sections.

 • Competitors must be ready to dance when their section is announced. Competitors will not be permitted to dance out of section and must dance in the order as stated on the programme. If dances wish to be danced in a certain order, (duets, trios and troupes), this must be indicated on the entry forms.

 • Dance Angels UK Regional’s accept no responsibility for any loss or damage sustained on the premises, nor held responsible for any items that are lost, damaged or stolen on the premises including all public areas such as dressing rooms, toilets, cafeteria or auditorium.

 •  Any damage caused by students or others property will be the responsibility of the school

• Dance Angels UK Regional’s provides a safe platform for children to perform and holds Public & Civil Liability Insurance. Please note though, all dancers performing on stage, performing choreography as set by their teacher or own arrangements, do so at their own risk. All dance teachers will be asked to sign a waiver on the first day of the festival to this effect.

 • No refunds will be offered for any cancellations including routines withdrawn after entry or accommodation.

 • Dance Angels UK Regionals UK prides itself on the fun & friendly platform we provide for performance. Any audience members found to be making derogatory comments about other performers will be asked to leave and any performers found doing so will be disqualified from the festival.
